Hi! The name's yellowhorde. I like reading, writing, drawing, and anime/manga. I really like Petshop of Horrors (my current obsession) Gundam Wing, Inuyasha, FAKE, Yami no Matsuei, Eerie Queerie, Gravitation and a bunch of others that I don't feel like typing out. I'm also a really big yaoi fan girl.

Sometimes I sell some of my manga collection on eBay. If you are interested, feel free to check to see if I have any current auctions HERE.

My interest in anime/manga led quite naturally to writing fanficton for my favorite series. I've been a fanfic writer since the summer of 2001 and I don't see any sign of me giving up my favorite hobby, even if my family/friends don't understand or necessarily approve of my yaoi/shonen ai obsession. Too bad. I like what I like and as long as what I do isn't illegal or cause physical harm to others, then I don't see where it's any of their concern.

Like many fanfic writers, I harbor dreams of someday becoming a 'real' writer. If that ever happens, I'll definitely let you know. XD

* This journal allows me to rant and get things off my chest that in real life I’d be forced to bottle up inside me until I just about explode.

* I get to post everything here including those really boring ‘this is what I did with my day’ posts that no one probably wants to read.

* All of my creative writing gets tossed here, be it original or fanfiction. Most of my fanfiction is either yaoi or shonen ai. And a lot of it will be crap. Let me say this again – A LOT OF WHAT I WRITE IS CRAP! See, I can admit it. Especially any and all attempts at poetry. Beware the poetry!

I want my journal to be a place where I can feel free to post crap. Because to me, creativity is being able to let it all come out, the good, the bad, the ugly. EVERYTHING. Art, on the other hand, (a word I would never apply to my own work) is knowing what to keep and what to share.

If I am not happy with something, it will stay here in my LJ and the writing communities here that I post to. If it turns out to be something that I wouldn’t mind sharing with the world at large, then it eventually show up at Fanfiction.Net, FictionPress.Com, or AdultFanFiction.Net.
