She stared ahead and felt the beginnings of the cursed giggles trickling up her throat. To laugh would be suicide, she knew. Not laughing would be just as bad. She struggled to keep her face blank but in the end she died laughing.
I didn't cry at the ceremony because I was happy. I cried because I was mad as hell and knew that she was making the biggest mistake of her life. I knew it and I think that, deep down in her heart, she knew it as well. But now it's too late.
