As some of you may already know, Notre Dame de Paris is my all-time favorite musical. But I can't find my CDs and I lost all of the music on my computer when it crashed, which ticks me off. Needless to say, when I have money, I'm going hunting for that soundtrack... but it was hard to find the first time. Hopefully I'll have luck in that department.
One of my favorite songs is L'efant Trouve, which was a rather short piece sung by Garou, who played Quasimodo. I quoted my favorite lines from the song when I wrote His Master's Dog for Cantarella because they seemed appropriate for Cesare and Chiaro's relationship at the time.
Je t’appartiens
De tout mon etre
Comme jamais un chien
n’a aime son maitre
I belong to you
To the depths of my soul
Like the deepest love of a dog
For his master.
