Plenty of reading material now!
Apr. 17th, 2008 11:41 amMy order from eBay arrived Monday and I'm just now getting around to opening it up! I ordered the complete (used) collection of J.D Robb's In Death series. That's thirty-one books (including nine hardbound books) with the average price of just $3.47 per book, including shipping and handling.
I'll finally be able to read the entire series from start to end! Or at least as far as the series currently goes - she has a new book being released in November. But I'll be up to date on all the events in the series!
I fell in love with the In Death series last summer and have been trying to get my hands on the books, but, according to omahapubliclibraries.org, there are only about a dozen books or so in the Omaha libraries. Not good enough. And buying them individually would have cost an arm and a leg, so... THANK GOD FOR EBAY!
All in all, it was a fantastic way to use my tax refund. Yay books!
And I can sit back and read all day if I so desired because I don't have to work today. Not at Hampton Inn, not at Taco John's. That's a relief because, frankly, working two jobs sucks ass.
