I was searching for musical clips from Notre Dame de Paris on YouTube because it's my favorite musical and I wanted to watch it. Unfortunately, I can't FIND it. *unhappy sigh*

I found several clips in English (the Broadway version, which I DO NOT recommend because it sucks donkey balls), the original French version (yay!) and even some Italian, which I didn't watch.

To my surprise, I came upon the English (not Broadway) AMV version of the song Tu Vas Me Detruite (You Will Destroy Me) for Disney's Hunchback of Notre Dame. Now, I loved Disney's Notre Dame despite its many flaws. The music was spectacular both for vocal and instrumental. To find a AMV with a song from Notre Dame de Paris was unbelievable and almost too good to be true.

Both the French Tu Vas Me Detruite and the English Your Love Will Kill Me are sung by Daniel Lavoie, who played the priest, Frollo, in the original French musical. Hell, all of the original French singers collaborated to sing an English language abbreviated CD and I think they did a fantastic job. And THAT is the English language version I love, Broadway be hanged.
