Writer's Block: Swine Times

[Error: unknown template qotd]

I am not at all worried about swine flu. Personally, I think people are getting hysterical about nothing. The every-day-run-of-the-mill flu kills 36,000 people a year and I don't see people freaking out about that. It's just the media blowing things out of proportion.

Wash your hands frequently and cover your mouth/nose when you sneeze or cough. And NOT into your hands, use your elbow or shoulder otherwise you'll be spreading your germs right, left and center every time you touch something.

And stop freaking out. Jeez.

I find all the BS media fear mongering just pathetic.

I guess we are supposed to sit in our houses and cower, and not worry about stuff like the rancid economy, wars, and other trivial matters.

Yeah the papers over here were really hyping up the number of cases in Mexico from the 26 or so mention on the WHO website to around 80-90 cases. Not really sure how they get away with it.

I'll start worrying when WHO and the CDC start panicing. Untill then I don't think we have too much to really worry about.
