EDIT: I googled it and the Emmy Awards will be aired on September 6th, 2008.

What is up with Greatest Journal?

It's been forever since I've updated my blog over there, because I kept getting a message near the top saying updating of journals and communities currently disabled.

Okay, that was well over a month ago. You think they would have fixed the problem by now. Are they permanently closed or what?

I guess it's just as well that I never bought an account over there. *shrug*

Fireflies!

We were really busy at Taco John's tonight because it was Taco Tuesday and hard shell tacos are .69 each.

But it was nothing compared to how busy we got after 8pm! It seems that as soon as the 8 o'clock people clock out, we get slammed! I ended up staying almost a half-hour after my shift because we were so busy on drive-thru that I wasn't able to get away at all. I just collected the money and handed out the order, rinse, repeat again, and again, and again...

Anyway, when I got home I walked Margo because Shirley is in Europe and now that Chris has a job working at Hy-Vee he can't be bothered walking the dog even if I do pay him for doing it. And I saw the first fireflies of the season! Yay!

I ♥ summer so much! The sound of the wind playing through the tree branches, the smell of freshly cut grass, dandelions sprouting everywhere (yes, I love dandelions because they are so bright and yellow), and fireflies! I don't ever, ever want winter to come again... but we all know it will...
