What is up with Greatest Journal?

It's been forever since I've updated my blog over there, because I kept getting a message near the top saying updating of journals and communities currently disabled.

Okay, that was well over a month ago. You think they would have fixed the problem by now. Are they permanently closed or what?

I guess it's just as well that I never bought an account over there. *shrug*

As far as I know, it had to close after the Strikeout sent a zillion LJ-users over there. Swamped it to the point that they had to close it, I think.

... Hang on, let me go look for the comment where someone explained it to me...
