YouTube - The Shining

I don't know if I've ever used the expression, "going Jack Nicholson on your ass" on LJ, but in real life, it is an expression I'm known to use, especially when I am being interrupted when I'm trying to write.
Let's just say that it pisses me off. Especially when I'm in the zone, you know? Things are going well, I'm seeing the story unfold in my head and my fingers are flying... and then someone, maybe one of my sisters or worse, my mother, interupt me for some reason or another.
If you've ever seen The Shining staring Jack Nicholson, you are familiar with the scene where his wife interrupts him when he's working. Remember his reaction? Yeah. That's how I feel when I get distracted.
When I was little, I thought he was just being a jerk, but now that I write, I understand how he feels.
For those of you who haven't seen the movie, I've found this clip from youtube. The actual writing scene doesn't start until five minutes into the scene. The quality is kind of poor, and for that I apologize. But just imagine me instead of Jack and you've got an idea about how I get when people interrupt my work.
