“You got a letter today.”
Chris’ eyes lit up when his mother showed him an envelope containing several foreign stamps in the upper right hand corner.
"It’s from Pon-chan!” he exclaimed. Grinning, he took the envelope and rushed to his room.
Flopping on his bed, he peered curiously at the stamps then broke into a huge grin. He didn’t have any of these and they’d make a fine addition to his growing collection.
“Wow,” he sighed in wonder, “I never knew there was a Chinatown in- “ he squinted at the crude handwriting, more drawn than written, “- Berlin, Germany.”
