Getting excited now!

yellowhordeLess than two weeks NaNoWriMo! Twelve days!
I'll be continuing my efforts on The Hunted this year instead of working on an entirely new story.
My current word count is 102,593 (minus my standard headings at the beginning of each chapter and any author notes) and it's 225 pages so far. EEP! Longest thing I have EVER written! If all goes well, I'll add another 50,000 by the end of November but please keep in mind that I do work two jobs so it's entirely possible I won't meet my goal - but I'm going to do my best. I'm not going to promised that the story will be finished, but it will definitely have advanced.
Like last year, I'll be posting what I get written to my LJ because I am paranoid and doing so was the only thing that kept me from losing all my work last December when my computer crashed. It won't be the finished product because sometimes NaNo can inspire some weirdness that simply HAS to be edited out.
For example: Then he heard Guido yelp in pain, a yelp that was cut off in mid-yelp.
Yeah. That sure didn’t make it to the final cut, believe me. *cringe*
Anyway, I can't wait! Poor Leon, he's not going to like me much after I get through with him. *evil grin*
