I got a review today for Man-Eater and the review made a comment that made me think.

You really must like trout, because every time some one arches their backit's done "like a landed trout." Maybe you could throw in some salmon?

Do I really use that phrase a lot? I never really noticed. And did they mean in that particular story or all of my stories in general? Because, yeah, it would be a little difficult to go back over everything I've EVER written. Though it probably wouldn't be TOO horrible if I just stuck to PSOH... ^^'

I don't want to be one of those writers (ie LKH) who uses a certain phrase to death. If anyone notices that I am in any past or future works, PLEASE feel free to let me know so I can change it.

Bye for now, I guess I have some fishing to do. haha

I read all of Man-Eater yesterday (WHICH I LOVED BTW) And don't recall anything about a trout?
And surely, being that I have the maturity of an 8 year old sometimes, would laugh at such a phrase if it was used all the time... XD

Then again, after reading that fic the last thing I was thinking about was about trouts and arched backs. (Our poor Leoooon. ♥ lol)

I wouldn't worry about it too much - perhaps that person was just particularly aware of the pescine order that day? And everyone has favorite 'turns of phrase', so really, don;t worry about it. Just keep writing! (Please!)
