God, I have no patience with technical thingies apparently. If it's not pretty damn straight forward or come with a For Dummies book, I get so mad when trying to figure things out.

Take for instance the screaming fit I had trying to figure out how to upload pictures from my digital camera onto the computer. I feel kind of embarrassed admitting it, but I usually have my youngest sister help me because I'm no good at doing it myself.

I would have asked her for help today, but she was in her room sleeping and if you try to wake her up she becomes bitch-zilla. No kidding, you take your life into your own hands if you try. Figuring that if she managed to do it, I could to, I gave it a whirl... and now I have a headache from all the yelling I did and my throat hurts.

But I got the pictures uploaded... just don't ask me to repeat the process any time soon.

I kind of feel the same way about that tablet I bought. I get so angry trying to use it, that I just stopped using it altogether and use the mouse because drawing is supposed to be about relaxing, not getting wild-eyed and upset. So now I just use a good old fashioned sketchbook and pencil - and then scream myself hoarse trying to upload it. haha. Technology sucks sometimes, really.

Anyway, I want to try coloring this sketch in ArtRage. But here's a photo of the original sketch.

(And yes, [livejournal.com profile] not_cynical was right, I need to get a scanner... but I don't have the money right now. Maybe after I file my taxes.)

I just got a printer/scanner for $59 at Target. It even came with the print cartridges. It's an Epson and it works really good.

Sadly, it doesn't matter as I don't have even $59 to spare. I need to take the dog to the vet, license her, get my taxes done and make the payments on my medical bills plus a bunch of other things. Then I'm taking two weeks off from both jobs to help mom after her surgery. And while Hampton Inn has paid vacation, Taco John's does not. That means I'll be even shorter on funds. *sigh* It'll be a while before I can spare the money for non-bill/necessity items.
